Introducing " A Life Box "

Having been a Funeral Celebrant for 8 years, I have met numerous families when their loved one has passed in order to put together a funeral service. On lots of occasions, people just do not know as much as what they thought about their family member who has passed.

We all grow up and have relationships with our Parents and possibly with extended family such as Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles, Cousins and Siblings. But how much do we actually know about their earlier life ? - (especially our Parents and Grandparents).

When my mum passed away in January of 2008, my Dad and I sat with the Funeral Celebrant and Dad told him all about Mum's earlier life - and I couldn't believe I didn't know half of it! Mum and I had a fantastic relationship and were very close, but looking back now, I realise that I had never sat down with her and asked her about her childhood. I heard snippits over the years but that was about it. Had my Dad not been around to tell this story I don't know what I would have done.

So that was a wake up call to me.. That is where " A Life Box " comes in. Your story told in Your Way. What an honour - and what a lovely keepsake for your family.

" A Life Box " contains a beautifully presented book that contains images you have supplied to me along with your life story, the images on a DVD accompanied by music of your choice, and a USB containing your images and life story that can be built on in the future.
