What to ask your celebrant - Part #1

  • Aug 17, 2015
  • 1 min read

When meeting with your celebrant there are quite a few questions you should ask to make sure your day runs smoothly. Below are just a few.

1. Check that your celebrant is a qualified civil marriage celebrant registered with the Attorney Generals Department.

2. Ask their fees - fees vary from one celebrant to the next as they are all self employed and run their own businesses. There is not a fixed or set fee.

3. What is included in the fees? Are there any extra costs?

4. What paperwork and identification does the celebrant require and when is this paperwork done?

These are just some of the questions that you have the right to ask your celebrant. Samantha from Life's Celebrations by Samantha answers all of these questions and more in the initial meeting.

If you have a wedding or celebration

coming up, contact Samantha to arrange a coffee chat.
